RVTD is opening the new Guy Wallman Mobility Training Center. Housed in the building that previously had the Greyhound Operations, RVTD has outfitted this building with a real bus inside, a transit shelter and other tools to help people learn to use transit of all ages and all abilities.
Guy Wallman was an RVTD bus driver who unfortunately passed from COVID during the pandemic. His family requested we hold the ceremony on his birthday, September 27th. RVTD will have a birthday cake and open the building to the public for the first time. We will be inviting agencies that often ask for travel training such as MSD, Access, HAJC, Columbia Care, Pathways, etc.
