Join us as a Parks Laborer and play a vital role in ensuring the landscape maintenance for Rogue X and the surrounding park areas. As a dedicated individual, you'll have the chance to roll up your sleeves and make a positive impact in your community. Your efforts will contribute directly to keeping our parks and Rogue X facility welcoming and enjoyable for all. 

Required Education and Experience:

  • Graduation from high school or GED equivalent; and
  • Must be 18 years of age or older by date of hire.

Additional Eligibility Requirements:

  • Working knowledge of basic building operation, repairs, equipment used and cleaning buildings.
  • Basic knowledge of the practices and techniques of landscape maintenance, tree care, and basic landscape construction techniques.
  • Knowledge of safety practices and procedures for this line of work.
  • Must be honest and truthful in all tasks and responsibilities. 
  • Possession of valid driver's license by date of hire. New employees establishing resident status in the State of Oregon must obtain an Oregon driver's license within 30 days (ORS 807.020 (1)).
  • Ability to maintain an acceptable driving record throughout employment.
  • Successful completion of a background investigation to the satisfaction of the City.

Available Schedule: 

  • Wednesday - Thursday, 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM
