ABOUT DAN KIRSCHNER 

As Executive Director of the NWGA since 2002, Dan Kirschner is an expert on natural gas matters in the Pacific Northwest. He works to foster understanding among opinion leaders and informed decision-making by governing officials on issues related to the region’s natural gas delivery system. Kirschner is a Northwest native. Prior to the NWGA, Kirschner worked in the Washington State Legislature, for U.S. Senator Slade Gorton and at the Spokane Regional Chamber of Commerce. He adds an MBA to his policy and public affairs experience giving him a unique perspective on the intersection of public policy and business imperatives. About the NWGA: The NWGA is a bi-national trade organization of the Pacific Northwest natural gas industry. Its core purpose is to advocate for the role of the region’s gas infrastructure in safely delivering a clean, dependable and affordable energy future. Members include six natural gas utilities serving communities throughout Idaho, Oregon, Washington and British Columbia, and four transmission pipelines that transport natural gas from production areas into and through the region.
