We’re hiring a part-time, year-round Custodian to help maintain all City facilities, including the state-of-the-art Rogue Credit Union Community Complex (Rogue X).

Required Education and Experience:- Graduation from high school or GED equivalent.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Six (6) months or more experience as a custodian with an industrial, janitorial firm, or commercial business and thorough knowledge of custodial materials and methods.
- Knowledge and experience with various types of floor maintenance equipment including floor scrubbers, extractors, buffers, and carpet cleaners.
- Ability to meet the physical requirements of the position.
- Ability to obtain Criminal Justice Information System (CJIS) clearance within three months of hire date.
- Possession of a valid driver’s license by date of hire. New employees establishing resident status in the State of Oregon must obtain an Oregon driver’s license within 30 days (ORS 807.020 (1)).
- Ability to maintain an acceptable driving record throughout employment.
- Successful completion of a background investigation to the satisfaction of the City.
Available Schedule:
Tuesday - Saturday, 6:00 PM - 10:00 PM
**Occasionally, you may be required to work on a holiday if it falls on your regular workday.**

- Empties and disposes of collected waste, recycled goods and other materials.
- Adheres to safety practices and standards when performing all duties
- Event support including set up and breakdown.
- Scope of assigned area will depend on departmental and/or citywide operational structure and is at the discretion of the Supervisor.
- Performs a variety of minor routine building maintenance tasks; identifies and reports building maintenance needs in assigned buildings and facilities.
- Keep all equipment and tools in good operational condition.
