Required Education and Experience:
- Graduation from high school or GED equivalent; and
- Three (3) years of experience in inspection or the construction trades with working knowledge of the Oregon Residential Codes; and
- Possession of at least one of the following certifications by hire:
- ICC Residential Building Inspector Certification (B1)
- Oregon Residential Structural/Mechanical Inspector (CAS); and
- Obtainment of the following certifications within one year of hire:
- Residential Plans Examiner (CAX)
- Residential Plumbing Inspector (CAP)
- Prior construction, inspection, and plan review experience.
Available Schedule:
- Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM

Certification Pay Differential:
This position may be eligible for additional pay based on certifications. Employees who obtain the following certifications may receive a 5% pay differential per certification, up to a maximum of 10% additional pay:
- CAE (Residential Electrical Inspector)
- CAP (Residential Plumbing Inspector)
- MIA (Mechanical Inspector A-Level)
- PEF (Fire and Life Safety Plans Examiner)
- SIA (Structural/Mechanical Inspector)
