Construction Manager

Bring complex public infrastructure projects from plan set to pavement. The City of Medford’s Construction Manager leads contract administration, construction engineering, and inspection for capital improvement projects and developer-initiated work in the public right-of-way, with direct oversight of construction inspector staff and close partnership with the Deputy City Engineer/Design Section Manager.
Required Education and Experience:
- Graduation from high school or GED equivalent; and
- Four (4) years of increasingly responsible construction management, design management or a closely related field with two (2) of those years in a supervisory or leadership position.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Construction Management, or other specified area of study as deemed applicable may substitute for one (1) year of work experience.
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field.
- Registered Professional Engineer in the State of Oregon.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
- Certified Construction Manager (CCM) certification.
Available Schedule:
- 8 hours daily, Monday - Friday
