Help keep Medford moving as a Parking Garage/Parking Lot Maintenance Worker with the City of Medford’s Facilities Management team. If you take pride in work you can see at the end of the day, you will appreciate the consistent core duties with enough day-to-day variety to keep things moving. You will keep our downtown parking garages and surface lots clean, safe, and welcoming through pressure washing, painting, minor repairs, graffiti removal, litter pickup, restroom cleaning and restocking, landscape and irrigation work, and more. Required Education and Experience:

  • Graduation from high school or GED equivalent; and
  • Must be 18 years of age; and
  • Have one (1) year of experience in a general labor role.
Additional Eligibility Requirements:
Knowledge of:
  • Technical machinery, such as:
    • Power tools
    • Leaf blower
    • Hedge trimmer
    • Pressure washer


Available Schedule:

  • Wednesday - Friday, 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM

Compensation & Information on Benefits:

The anticipated hiring range for the Parking Garage/Parking Lot Maintenance Worker position is $18.36 (first step) to $19.28 or $20.24 (second or third step). The City of Medford determines starting pay based on an evaluation of relevant education, experience, and qualifications as provided by the applicant in their application materials, alongside others who perform work of comparable character consistent with the Oregon Equal Pay Act. Three steps are included in this salary range, allowing opportunity for annual movement through the steps.
