Systems Analyst

Join the City of Medford’s IT team as a Systems Analyst, where you will be the driving force and subject matter expert behind our enterprise software solutions. In addition to providing support for the City’s third-party ERP systems, you will also manage projects related to the implementation and enhancement of new and existing systems.
You’ll work closely with other departments to ensure IT aligns with business needs and provide technical solutions for business processes. Complex problem-solving will be a core part of your day, requiring a highly analytical and self-motivated mindset to diagnose and resolve technical issues across a wide variety of systems.

Required Education and Experience:
- Graduation from high school or GED equivalent; and
- Six (6) years of experience with computer hardware and software support, database development and management.
- A bachelor’s degree in computer science or other area of study as deemed applicable may substitute for two (2) years of experience.
- Proficiency in SQL scripting for querying databases, data analysis, and generating reports.
- Prior experience with Cognos, Crystal Reports, and SSRS reporting tools.
- Experience designing and developing data marts and data warehouses.
Available Schedule:
- Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
- Opportunity for alternate schedule:
- Teleworking may be available after the first 90 days (not guaranteed). Telework is granted based on merit and performance, at the discretion of the direct supervisor and department director.
