Join the City of Medford’s IT team as a Systems Analyst, where you will be the driving force and subject matter expert behind our enterprise software solutions. In addition to providing support for the City’s third-party ERP systems, you will also manage projects related to the implementation and enhancement of new and existing systems.

You’ll work closely with other departments to ensure IT aligns with business needs and provide technical solutions for business processes. Complex problem-solving will be a core part of your day, requiring a highly analytical and self-motivated mindset to diagnose and resolve technical issues across a wide variety of systems.

Required Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or GED equivalent; and
• Six (6) years of experience in software application administration and support including:
  • Three (3) years of database administration experience; and
  • Two (2) years of project management experience.
• A bachelor’s degree in computer science or other area of study as deemed applicable may substitute for two (2) years of the required technical experience (application administration or database administration), but not project management experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with SQL scripting for querying databases, data analysis, and generating reports.
• Prior experience with Cognos, Crystal Reports, or SSRS reporting tools.
